As much as I love the way music sounds with my Senheisser earphones, I am considering switching to headphones because my ear aches after some time of working while listening to music. I saw cute Skullcandy headphones this week and practically fell in love with the pink and white ones.

Has anyone used Skullcandy headphones? Or any other nice headphones. With awesome functionality and a cool design too, I hope XD Please indicate brand, price and where one could buy them. Thanks!

Had dinner with ruinai, jmibanez, Butch, Dean and Joseph. I cooked spaghetti with white sauce. Butch wanted to cook couscous and we did. :) It was couscous with tomato sauce, bell pepper and sausages.

The dinner was great :) The pasta was a hit! XD I cooked that with rabu rabu pawaa~! I just knew that for sure it was me, JM and Renee who would have dinner but other guests showed up at the office. It was fine. :D

After dinner, Renee and I fangirled over Hyde ♥ She had her photobook with her ^^

So yeah, folks, a dinner cooked with rabu rabu pawaa was a nice one. ♥

I mean, I like some songs of the JE boys. One of my current LSS these days is Arashi's "Kitto Daijoubu" and last month it was KAT-TUN's "You." It's just that I prefer them acting than singing and dancing. Does that make sense?! Is it because that I know them because of J-dramas rather than their songs?

And there are other actors out there who are not from JE and yet I think they are awesomeXD I luff Kassy, Mizushima Hiro, Eita and Tamaki Hiroshi. ♥

Anyway I had some fun at Sun Tech Days. I was listening to some of the talks and I got inspired to learn JavaFX. It doesn't look as scary. Though I was a bit tired because of the lack of sleep so I did doze off at low points in the sessions I attended. :( One of those sessions was the Grails one -- But it was interesting too so I am probably going to ask more about it to Butch, et al.

It was amusing how they really were telling people that Eclipse users had no reason to not use Netbeans ^^;

As for conference goods, I got a backpack with a copy of OpenSolaris which I plan to install on VirtualBox sometime within a month's time. It also had a small useful notebook, similar to a Moleskine. :)

Tomorrow, I am considering joining the talent show of unusual skills. But I dunno if I am brave enough for that :p Too bad Peppy has my poi and I couldn't find my ribbon poi set :(

But for a person to key in an SMS, I don't think it would take more than 5 minutes for a message worth 160-320 characters.

Sometimes messages are important. Sometimes it's not. But when someone requests something of you and has indicated it as urgent what do you do? Sometimes you end up calling. If the person is busy, you SMS.

What is urgent and important? Those are probably relatively values you give to certain things. However, if you do want to question how urgent it is to gauge your reply in case you have more details that you need, you could ask anyway. Through an SMS if you don't want to call.

There are times I don't pick up my phone right away. But more often than not it's because I left my phone with or I am in a meeting. If I don't pick up my phone right away I'd still send an SMS as soon as possible. I think that's courtesy to the person who wants to hear something from me.

I cook for myself, Ealden, Katz, Kathy and Joemar. Sometimes we get to eat with the so-called Lipo Boys and Ja and Pepper. :)

Lunch is not as noisy as I am used to but it's fun getting to know other people too, especially the new hires in the office. I haven't really gotten the chance to work with most of my lunchmates so it is not as easy and comfy coming up with a menu for all of us. But it's been great because I learned new things about them each lunch time. I also have been joining them in their badminton nights which is a great physical activity and I am learning how to get over my badminton trauma. :D

Still thinking about changing them to brown ones...
I wonder if these would look good with my chocolate brown skirt and a white blouse. What do you think?

I just finished ep 3. The drama is just so tragic. I hardly watch series of this kind. But I can't help it. I love the cast.

Rjene has recommended two J-dramas to me this summer. I think I've mentioned Zettai Kareshi before. Now it's Brother Beat. Stars include Mokomichi that's why she recommended it. :P

In any case, I am almost done watching Brother Beat. 1 episode to go! I've had fun watching it that's why I am almost done.

Brother Beat is about three brothers and a mother who all struggle to get by life. The brothers basically take care of their mother who's not quite the typical mother figure. The three brothers have different personalities: Tatsuya the salaryman who's the eldest brother and the one who has taken the place of their father, Riku is the happy-go-lucky playboy type and the youngest Junpei who is gentle and is a good cook.

The interaction among the three brothers and their mother is hilarious at times. Especially when it comes to setting up her oldest son to her manager (who fell in love with Tatsuya). It's also amusing to watch how different the three brothers are from each other and yet they all stay together somehow.

It's really amusing how you guys share your birthday. I wish a happy day for both of you! ^_^

I am mistaken to be the younger sister because there are people who say I look younger. But I think that in yesterday's pictures my sister and I both look young.

I was in Mangaholix last night after meeting my friend Renee in Bo's Coffee. (We fangirled over L'arc en Ciel before I checked out the cosplays and stuff inside the convention hall! Hah!) Even Rie (my Pinky) was fangirling before the con...



Anyhow, on to the pictures from Mangaholix. I only got pictures of people walking around and those who were having photo-ops with people using awesome DSLRs.

Other high points of the event: Urbandub had 4 songs. They played towards the announcement of winners. Awesome! I got the autographs of Lalay and Gabby of Urbandub. Ureshii~! I wish jmibanez was there because he's the one who enjoys their music than myself.

I'd like to cosplay again one of these days. Waah~! I had fun in Mangaholix and will love to go to another con one of these days. :)

This weekend is so soon already and can't say that I am totally happy about the weekend either.

Anyhow, I really hope to dream of good things mainly. When I dream of bad things, it's really bad.

I am really going on retail therapy thanks to ebay and HLJ. Dagnabit. Too many cute Pinkies.
