Thursday night:
Ranulf's birthday celebration and Sacha's despedida. We stayed overnight at the Chua home and I was pretty much awake the entire time, talking with Sean, Kel and JM til the morning of Friday. I learned so many things about these people especially Sean and Kel. I don't think I will ever see them in the same way... ;) Great bonding time :D Sacha was still busy packing the entire time so we weren't really able to talk much that night. Well, there's IM, email and the blogs to keep us in touch so that's ok.
Oh, and on Thursday night, Kuya Richi called up at the Chuas' so I actually got to talk with him a bit :)
Friday:
Didn't get to see Sacha off at the airport. My glasses got lost in the roofdeck and wanted to look for it. Was mightily freaked out that I had "no eyes" -- that happens to me every morning :| Thankfully, Sean found the missing glasses :)
I spent the day at Ron's. I helped Kel with the phone calls for the article he has to write. I met Mark there and am glad he also likes Ah My Goddess. Kel, JM and I were sort of able to catch some Zs that afternoon. Later that night, we had dinner at Gerry's in Libis. Squid!!! We had squid!!! Ranulf mentioned that he saw that the music gig in Eastwood was starting on his way to meet us in Gerry's so we decided to check it out later. JM and I have no idea when Affinity played but it was getting late so we decided to head on home.
Saturday:
Woke up late and went to Pasig. Pretty frustrating because I couldn't install XFCE 4 properly. :( Dependencies and all that. Same thing goes for Abiword. And the modem - waaaaaaaaaah! It's a Hummingbird Winsoft modem *cries!* I have to research on things to get it working. Thankfully, JM will help ^_^ Yay! Whew!
However, when I left Pasig and was already in Cubao, I realized that my flashdrive wasn't with me. I took a cab and went back to Pasig just to pick it up. (Was tired that is why I took the cab.) Actually, when I was frantically searching for it in Cubao, I stabbed my thumb (the area between the nail and the flesh) with the tip of a pen :( It bled... For a while I felt like I was in a soap opera of sorts. Anyhow, I am just glad that it's back with me ^_^

Since my optometrist put me in contacts four years ago, I've all but stopped wearing my glasses. I did wear them yesterday, but shouldn't have since it was so hot...
I <3 my glasses, though.
My eyes are so bad that I can't even stand to not wear my glasses for more than a few seconds.
Just curious to know why yours was off of your face.
I was in panic mode and rummaged through my bag while Sean volunteered to go up and look for them on the roofdeck. Funny thing was, he saw the two pairs of glasses under the blankets. I don't recall going to the bed at all. I was on one of those nice seats the entire time. ^_^;
