I have yet to post the rest of the public briefing on the Digital Pinay controversy which has erupted this past week. Sean Uy and Xenia Solano have both posted on their blogs about so you can read more about it. I am still trying to make sense of my notes. I am actually also going to post an open letter to PCS about this entire shebang. I wish that Ranulf would post or something since he seems to be quite reasonable about how to take this. Me, I am still feeling a bit off about this thing. Sean seems ok to wait out on the results. I guess, I will have to do the same thing. PCS, after all, has already decided to push through with it. I like what Oui,
mierin_lanfear, posted as comments on my previous post and I would post them here as well. the next time I update, that is.
Migs Paraz has recently posted (http://www.mparaz.com/w/archives/2005/0 1/22/philippine-computer-society-buzz/) that one of his friends is thinking that this might be simply a ploy to draw attention to PCS. Hmmmm... Just read it for yourself.

Was in ADMU DISCS yesterday, with Mario Carreon and Eric Vidal - both are my batchmates from high school. Was supposed to install Debian and SuSE but we didn't have enough time to install SuSE so I am currently using Debian Sarge. Apt-get is really amazing. Hay... If only we had internet access at home, it would be so much easier, I swear. Debian seems interesting so I would have to wait for the time to ask someone help me install SuSE as well. I have one empty partition for that specific purpose. I would love to post more details about my visit to DISCS but I have not much time. ^_^V
Anyhow, Eric, thanks for the wonderful bookmarks! They are lovely ^_^ I am using the red one as I am reading The Bonesetter's Daughter by Amy Tan.
